CHAPTER 1

Deep calleth unto deep at the sound of Thy waterspouts… (Psa 42:7, KJV)

And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard  your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (Phil 4:7)

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. (Rom 8:28)

God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent.  Has He said, and will He not do it?  Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? (Num 23:19)

No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it. (1 Cor 10:13)

Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ. (Phil 1:6)

CHAPTER 2

And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; for You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You. (Psa 9:10)

Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you.  He will not leave you nor forsake you. (Deut 31:6)


 CHAPTER 3

But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord. (2 Cor 3:18)

CHAPTER 4

“whom our fathers would not obey, but rejected.  And in their hearts they turned back to Egypt,” (Acts 7:39)

For we are the circumcision, who worship God in the Spirit, rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh. (Phil 3:3)

“Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength whose heart departs from the Lord.” (Jer 17:5)

CHAPTER 5

“Behold, I have made your face strong against their faces, and your forehead strong against their foreheads.  Like adamant stone, harder than flint, I have made your forehead; do not be afraid of them, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they are a rebellious house.” (Ezek 3:8-9)

“Be strong and of good courage, do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” (Josh 1:9)

CHAPTER 6

….which he worked in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion….(Eph 1:20-21)

Casting down vain imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. (2 Cor 10:5 KJV)

Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. (Heb 4:16)

….for the kingdom of God is not food and drink, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. (Rom 14:17)

CHAPTER 7

Reference to Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane (Matt 26:36-39)

Therefore, in all things He had to be made like His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people.  For in that He Himself has suffered, being tempted, He is able to aid those who are tempted. (Heb 2:17-18)

For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. (Heb 4:15)

And behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split…

CHAPTER 9

CHAPTER 10

CHAPTER 12

CHAPTER 13

Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time. (1 Pet 5:6)

“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. (Matt 6:33)

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. (Prov 3:5-6)

Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. (Psa 37:4)

CHAPTER 14

…for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. (Heb 11:6)

“As the deer pants for the water brooks, so pants my soul for You, O God.” (Psa 42:1)

“I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser.  Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.  Abide in Me, and I in You.  As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.  I am the vine, you are the branches.  He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.” (John 15:1-5)

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. (Gal 5:22-23)

“And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened.  For false christs and false prophets will arise and show great signs and wonders, so as to deceive, if possible, even the elect.”

CHAPTER 15

“Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.” (Matt 18:19)

“….that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.  And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one.  I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.  Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.” (John 17:21-24)

CHAPTER 16

“For with God nothing will be impossible.” (Luke 1:37)

For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God.  And the dead in Christ will rise first.  Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.  And thus we shall always be with the Lord. (1 Thes 4:16-17)
